We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst who combines technical expertise with strategic thinking and executive-level communication. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who can query and interpret complex datasets, derive actionable insights, and confidently present findings to senior leadership to influence decision-making.

This position is not just about pulling data — it’s about telling the story behind the numbers and shaping strategy through insight.

Responsibilities

  • Query, clean, and analyze large datasets using SQL, Python, R, or similar tools.
  • Translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives tailored for executive audiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and align data insights with strategic goals.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations that communicate findings, recommendations, and business impact.
  • Identify data quality issues and proactively address inconsistencies.
  • Mentor junior analysts and foster a collaborative, insight-driven team environment.
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices in data analytics and visualization.
  • Demonstrate curiosity and initiative by exploring beyond the initial request to uncover additional insights.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field — Data Analytics, Business, Economics, or a similar discipline 
  • Proven ability to present data-driven insights to senior leaders and influence strategy.
  • Strong technical proficiency in SQL, Excel, and at least one statistical or scripting language (e.g., Python, R).
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance technical depth with strategic thinking.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Experience preparing and delivering presentations to executive audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with organizational data structures and stewardship models.
  • Background in experience design or user-centered analytics.
  • Experience mentoring or coaching others in data storytelling and executive communication.
  • Naturally curious and passionate about uncovering insights that drive impact.
  • Comfortable navigating both technical and strategic conversations.
  • Has a track record of executive presence and can confidently lead discussions with directors and senior stakeholders.
  • Thrives in environments where they can discover patterns, challenge assumptions, and propose innovative solutions.
  • Willing to grow into a hybrid role if not already fully developed in both technical and strategic areas.
