We are seeking individuals who have worked in an industrial environment to fill the position of Junior Compliance Coordinator for our Fredericksburg, VA location.
Job Description
The selected candidate will:
- Research and report on regulatory changes to ensure compliance, including working with consultants to achieve compliance.
- Assist with implementing procedures for monitoring compliance guidelines training new employees and retrain all employees on compliance procedures when applicable.
- Provide support and answer questions regarding policies.
- Conduct product, department, and branch compliance reviews.
- Enhance compliance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Encourage productive and positive enthusiasm with team members.
Required Qualifications
The successful candidate’s background will include:
- High School Diploma required; college degree preferred. BS in Business, Industrial Safety, Environmental Engineering preferred.
- Minimum 1 year experience in a compliance role for Company or related outside job experience preferred.
- Good communication skills/phone skills required
- Computer skills, including proficiency in Google Workspace
- SAP experience preferred.
