Key Responsibilities:

Production Planning & Coordination

  • Develop and maintain detailed production schedules using Excel and ERP systems.
  • Track work orders, monitor progress, and adjust schedules to meet delivery deadlines.
  • Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure timely availability of materials.

Excel & Data Management

  • Use Excel to create and manage production trackers, pivot tables, and performance dashboards.
  • Analyze production data to identify trends, delays, and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records of production output, downtime, and material usage.

Communication & Collaboration

  • Serve as the communication hub between production, engineering, purchasing, and logistics.
  • Lead daily production meetings to align teams on goals, updates, and issues.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams and external vendors.

Quality & Process Improvement

  • Ensure production processes meet quality standards and safety regulations.
  • Identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements.
  • Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in metal fabrication or heavy equipment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts, conditional formatting).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and production planning tools is a plus.
  • Knowledge of dump body components and manufacturing processes is desirable.

Working Conditions:

  • Manufacturing floor and office environment.
  • May require occasional lifting and physical activity.
  • Overtime or weekend work may be needed to meet production goals.
