D2 Government Solutions (D2GS) is seeking a full-time qualified candidate for a Shipping Clerk Site Lead at our Springfield, VA location.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily shipping and material handling operations.
• Supervise and guide shipping clerks to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant packaging and shipment of materials.
• Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide training to team members on procedures and safety practices.
• Ensure full compliance with OSHA regulations, installation security policies, and organizational SOPs.
• Conduct quality checks on all outgoing shipments to verify accuracy and adherence to standards.
• Maintain accurate shipping and inventory records, reporting discrepancies to management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework or certification in logistics, shipping, or warehouse management preferred.
• Proven leadership experience in shipping or warehouse environments.
• OSHA certification or demonstrable knowledge of workplace safety standards.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Skilled in using shipping software, inventory systems, and material handling equipment.
• Physically capable of lifting and moving materials as needed and maintaining safety protocols.
