As the Human Resource Manager at Kern-Liebers USA, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive workplace culture, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and driving strategic HR initiatives to support the business objectives of the organization. This is an opportunity for a dynamic leader to shape human resource policies and practices while promoting an environment of inclusivity and collaboration.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resource functions including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, and HR compliance. You will work closely with department managers and leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that align with our business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization.
  • Lead recruitment and selection processes to attract top talent.
  • Manage performance management processes and develop programs to enhance employee development.
  • Address employee relations issues, mediate conflicts, and manage disciplinary actions effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, and maintain HR policies and procedures.
  • Oversee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitive offerings and compliance.
  • Facilitate training programs and workshops to promote continuous learning and professional development.
  • Act as a consultant to management on human resource-related issues.
  • Develop metrics to measure effectiveness of HR initiatives and report to senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SPHR) is a plus.
  • A minimum of 5 years of HR management experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws and regulations.
  • Proven experience in employee relations, recruitment, and performance management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to advise and influence at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Experience with HRIS and other HR-related software.
  • Ability to analyze data to support decision-making.
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Safety/Environmental experience
