About the Department
The Community Supervision Officer supervises a caseload of misdemeanor and felony offenders placed on community supervision by the criminal courts of Brazoria County.
Position Duties
Minimum Qualifications
This position requires a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, criminology, corrections, counseling, rehabilitative studies, social work, psychology, sociology or a related field conferred by an institution of higher education accredited by an accrediting organization recognized by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board. One year of experience in full-time casework or counseling and current certification as a community supervision officer is desirable.

Starting salary $51,227 based on experience and qualifications.
Request for official transcripts will be required upon selection for interview.The required work hours are Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with alternating late night of 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. every other Tuesday or Thursday.
