Supervisor Production bei Mountain Cement Company

The Production Supervisor is responsible for guiding production operations to meet or exceed production goals while complying with applicable safety and environmental regulations and/or MCC policies at all times.  This individual reports to the MCC Production Manager. This supervisor must be a leader capable of directing others. The Production Supervisor must be knowledgeable of all aspects of cement manufacturing, have a clear understanding of the rules and regulations affecting product and governing employee safety/management. This individual must promote environmental/safety compliance and be capable of communicating fundamental beliefs and principles of the organization to all employees.

Basic qualifications and/or traits that a MCC Production Foreman must possess include:

1. A thorough knowledge of all aspects of the MCC cement manufacturing process.
2. Leadership: must lead by example and be able to motivate others.
3. Integrity and ethical behavior beyond reproach.
4. Must possess good communication skills: writing, speaking, listening, etc.
5. Proficient in establishing goals that are clear, well-defined, and measurable. Must be able to communicate these objectives clearly to subordinates, and provide feedback/appraisals to ascertain if the objectives are being met.
6. Must possess good decision-making skills based upon the ability to identify problems, collect relevant information/data, and generate alternatives. This individual must be detail-oriented and decisive when making decisions.
7. The supervisor must be able to adapt to rapidly changing priorities as conditions warrant.
8. This individual must be able to delegate job/tasks to his subordinates and hold themselves and subordinates accountable for job performance.
9. Excellent organizational skills to facilitate completion of mandated daily activities.
10. Must be capable of handling stress associated with operations, deadlines, and personnel interactions.
11. Capable of maintaining appropriate and constructive responses under all circumstances.
