About the Role:
We’re looking for a creative, strategic, and highly organized Senior Copy & Communications Manager to lead the voice of Stoney Clover Lane and bring clarity, consistency, and storytelling magic to every message we share - across product, marketing, retail, social, and brand moments.

 

This role is a hybrid of expert copywriting and thoughtful messaging strategy. You’ll write compelling, on-brand copy for everything from product launches to emails to packaging, while also shaping the bigger-picture narratives that bring our brand to life. You’ll partner across departments to ensure our messaging is cohesive, impactful, and customer-first no matter where or how someone engages with Stoney Clover.

 

What You’ll Do:

·   Write, edit, and oversee brand copy across all touch points including email marketing, product descriptions, paid media, packaging, SMS, website, store signage, and press releases

·   Conceptualize and develop campaign storytelling, messaging frameworks, and launch communication strategies that align with business goals and brand positioning

·   Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, creative, PR, retail, influencer, and customer service teams to ensure messaging is consistent, aligned, and tailored to each platform

·   Lead messaging development and approvals for brand collaborations and licensed collections (e.g Disney, Hello Kitty), ensuring all copy meets partner guidelines while staying true to the Stoney Clover Lane voice

·   Support storytelling and creative ideation for social content, working with the social team on campaign concepts, TikTok ideas, and on-brand messaging across channels

·   Write all social captions and on-asset copy needs, ensuring each piece feels native to the platform and reflective of our tone

·   Own and maintain LinkedIn copy and posting calendar, ensuring brand voice extends to corporate channels in a thoughtful and engaging way

·   Tailor messaging for segmented audiences in partnership with digital team 

·   Own and evolve the Stoney Clover Lane brand voice guide, ensuring every piece of content feels fun, elevated, and unmistakably “us”

·   Manage timelines, approvals, and copy workflows to meet launch deadlines and campaign goals

·   Lead or mentor junior copywriters or freelance talent as needed

What We’re Looking For:

·   5-7 years of experience in copywriting, brand communications, or editorial roles (DTC, fashion, or lifestyle preferred)

·   Proven track record of writing engaging, conversion-driving copy across digital channels

·   Experience working with brand partnerships or licensed product launches, including navigating approvals and aligning messaging

·   Strong messaging instincts and ability to zoom out from writing to craft larger narratives and frameworks

·   Deep understanding of brand storytelling and how to tailor messages to different channels and audience segments

·   Strategic thinker with a creative mindset and strong attention to detail

·   Comfortable working in a fast-paced, launch-driven environment with shifting priorities

·   Collaborative, organized, and excited to bring fresh ideas to the table

Bonus Points If You:

·   Have experience developing messaging for influencer campaigns or branded partnerships

·   Are skilled in customer segmentation or retention marketing strategies

·   Have a background in PR, editorial planning, or internal communications

·   Understand and love the Stoney Clover Lane customer
