Are you ready to make a real difference in the lives of children and families in Lynn? The Demakes Family YMCA is looking for a passionate and skilled full-time Curriculum

Coordinator for our Early Learning Program (ELP), which serves children from 2.9 to 5 years old. This is a unique opportunity to lead the educational vision of our program and ensure every child has a strong start.

As a key member of our team, you’ll work directly with our Program Director and our incredible teaching staff. If you're excited about creating a high-quality, play-based curriculum and helping our teachers shine, this could be the perfect role for you!

What You'll Do

  • Be a Curriculum Visionary: You'll design, manage, and continuously improve our ELP curriculum. This isn't just about lesson plans; it's about building a fun, engaging, and purposeful learning environment that nurtures every child's potential.
  • Empower Our Teachers: You'll be a mentor and a coach, providing our teachers with the training, resources, and support they need to bring our curriculum to life with creativity and confidence.
  • Measure Our Impact: You'll help us understand how our program is making a difference by analyzing data on children's growth and development. This will help us celebrate successes and guide our decisions for the future.
  • Manage Resources: You’ll be in charge of selecting and managing all the educational materials and tools that support our curriculum, ensuring our classrooms are rich with hands-on learning opportunities.
  • Uphold Our Standards: You'll help us maintain the high standards of quality and compliance that the YMCA is known for, ensuring we meet all Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) regulations.
  • Build Our Community: You'll work alongside our team and connect with families to create a collaborative and supportive atmosphere, reinforcing the YMCA's commitment to Youth Development.

Who We're Looking For

  • An Advocate for Kids: You have a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field.
  • A Certified Professional: You hold a valid Director 1 certification from the EEC.
  • An Experienced Leader: You have at least 3-5 years of experience in early childhood
