THE JOB:

As a Food and Beverage Runner, you will take center stage in delivering an exceptional dining experience by providing attentive and swift table-side service. You’ll showcase your knowledge by expertly describing our delectable dishes and addressing any guest inquiries with both professionalism and enthusiasm. Keeping our guests' satisfaction at the forefront, you contribute to the vibrant atmosphere that MGM is known for.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Expedite food from the kitchen to the table as dictated by sequence of service and by the Chef or kitchen expediter

• Describe food upon placement on the table, answering questions pertaining to the dishes

• Describe menu features as needed (include changes and additions)

• Communicate with expediter to ensure delivery of food to the correct table and position

• Perform assigned open and closing side-work

• Communicate needs of the guest to kitchen and management, inform management of guest reaction and comments and assist management to ensure smooth operation and quality service

• Check dining area, tables and chairs for cleanliness, maintain cleanliness and organization of station and service area

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Required to Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays

• Preferred experience in a high-volume dining restaurant as a Food Runner or Server

• 6+ Months of Prior Relevant Experience

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent preferred

The rate for this role is:

Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
