Duties

You will direct pedestrians when it is safe to proceed and cross the street.,You will use proper hand motions and signals to direct vehicular traffic to proceed or stop.,You will ensure the safe street crossing of children and/or other pedestrians by directing and controlling vehicular traffic.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of general experience in federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector that demonstrates progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled. Education

In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: 2 years above high school; or a combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience. Other Information

Work is performed outside where there may be exposure to moderate discomforts and unpleasantness associated with inclement weather. Work requires physical exersion such as extended periods of standing, walking, and waving hands. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
