Job Title: Senior Legal Counsel
Job Location: Bangalore, India

We are looking for a determined, self-motivated Senior Legal Counsel who can support our mission and help us navigate the legal landscape. This includes legal counselling and negotiating in areas including commercial, regulatory and corporate matters, transactions, litigation, competition, anti-bribery, sanctions, advertising, tax, IP, and employment issues.
Purpose of Job: The Senior Legal Counsel will provide legal support to the Netradyne leadership team and our operations in Bangalore, India.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a key resource, providing effective daily legal support that enables our business to achieve objectives, minimize legal risks, and comply with local laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Proactively support the company in preventing, detecting, and responding to legal risks in business operations. Monitor, identify, interpret, and communicate changes in the law that could affect business operations. Assist with internal controls and compliance program enhancements.
- Participate in regional and corporate assignments/projects.
- Negotiate legal terms in a wide variety of contracts.
- Collaborate with lawyers in the US to ensure consistent legal advice and effective use of Legal resources. Assist in identifying legal issues and implementing processes in support of Netradyne’s global expansion into Europe and Asia.
- Work with in-house counsel on internal investigations or government inquiries when needed.
- Develop and conduct training programs for the employees based on identified needs.
- Support implementation of legal strategy, AI projects, and advocacy activities
- Mentor more junior in-house legal professional.
Requirements:
- At least 12 years of experience in an international law firm or the in-house legal department of a multinational company, with a strong emphasis on commercial law.
- Fluent in English.
- Experience working with legal matters in different geographies, particularly India and exposure to Europe, and APAC would be a plus.
- Degree in law from top universities.
- Experience in a Technology based multinational company is a plus.
- Litigation experience is a plus.
- Ability to lead and participate in late night and early morning meetings with stakeholders in multiple geographies.
Skills:
- Excellent contract negotiation skills a must.
- Litigation skills a plus.
- Ability to think critically and identify gaps in legal documents.
- Comprehensive technical knowledge / experience to improve legal processes, and services.
- Ability to work independently and lead large-scale legal projects across regions.
- Excellent risk management skills.
- Ability to facilitate and manage contract review from cross-department stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, highly organized.
- Able to anticipate and resolve complex legal problems.
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
- Attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to establish key relationships, and partner effectively with others.
- Strong analytical skills and sound judgment, including in high pressure situations
