Business Resiliency is a vital component of Operations within Consumer and Community Bank (CCB), ensuring support for employees, customers, and vendors during business disruptions across our global platform. These disruptions may stem from natural or human-caused incidents affecting business locations, technology infrastructure, vendors, and employees. The Business Resiliency Support Services team, a key function within CCB Business Resiliency, encompasses Quality, Controls, Reporting, and Tooling/Automation. This team is responsible for ensuring processes are executed in alignment with firmwide and business standards, while also implementing solutions to enhance the Resiliency and Delivery Management (RDM) program.

As a Business Resiliency Controls Manager within RDM Quality and Controls, you will be highly skilled and have a strong background in Risk Management, with the ability to assess policies for operational adherence. You will have foundational knowledge of audit management and control testing methodologies, as well as the ability to interpret and leverage data/automation tools to make informed, data-based decisions. In this role, you will possess a leadership mindset, with the ability to influence and develop others, and will demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills. Key components of your role will also include ross-functional teamwork, problem-solving, and the development of effective solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Horizontal Controls to ensure operational adherence to policies and procedures
  • Conduct risk assessments and identify potential areas of vulnerability within the organization
  • Utilize audit management and control testing methodologies to evaluate the effectiveness of existing controls
  • Interpret and leverage data/automation tools to make data-driven decisions and improve business processes
  • Influence cross-functional teams to drive business resiliency initiatives and develop others within the organization
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing clear and concise reports and presentations
  • Identify problems and develop innovative and effective solutions to enhance business resiliency
  • Foster an innovation mindset and adapt to changes in the business environment

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, or a related field
  • Proven experience in risk management, with a focus on operational adherence
  • Foundational knowledge of audit management and control testing methodologies
  • Proficiency in data interpretation and the use of automation tools for decision-making
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and develop others
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop effective solutions
  • Innovative mindset with the ability to adapt to change

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:

  • Certification in Risk Management, Business Continuity, or a related field
  • Experience in the financial services industry, particularly in Consumer & Community Banking
