Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will support clinical operations, assist providers, and ensure patients receive efficient, high-quality care. This role requires strong patient interaction skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic clinic environment.

Key Duties

• Prepare and room patients, taking vitals and documenting medical history
   
• Assist providers during exams, procedures, and treatments
   
• Administer injections, immunizations, and medications as directed (within scope of practice)
   
• Perform phlebotomy, specimen collection, and point-of-care testing
   
• Ensure exam rooms are stocked, sanitized, and prepared for patient care
   
• Support patient education on treatments, medications, and lifestyle recommendations
   
• Utilize EMR/EHR systems (Epic, Meditech, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or similar) for documentation and charting
   
• Assist with front office support when needed, including scheduling and patient check-in
   
• Collaborate with providers and staff to deliver seamless patient care
   
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and clinical safety standards

• Monday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM  
• Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM  
• Wednesday: Closed  
• Thursday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM  
• Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM  
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM  
• Sunday: Closed

Requirements

Skills & Qualifications

• CMA, RMA, EMT certification, or recent graduate of a medical assisting program welcomed  
• Knowledge of clinical procedures, medical terminology, and patient care best practices  
• Experience with EHR/EMR systems preferred (Epic, Meditech, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks)  
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills  
• Ability to multitask effectively in a busy clinical setting  
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail  
• Phlebotomy and injection experience a plus  
• Bilingual abilities are a plus  

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
