What You'll be Doing
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Underwriting Assistant to support our underwriting team in the day-to-day management of a large book of business. This role plays a key part in maintaining excellent client service standards, ensuring company compliance, and supporting underwriters in processing and managing accounts efficiently. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong analytical and communication skills, and be eager to build a long-term career in the insurance industry.

Key Responsibilities
- Underwriting & Brokerage Support
- Assist with the binding of coverage and preparation of documentation.
- Manage renewal quoting processes, including gathering necessary information, preparing submissions, and ensuring timely delivery.
- Handle policy issuance, endorsements, and related documentation with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Market & Client Interaction
- Provide service management for a large book of business, ensuring prompt and professional communication with brokers, carriers, and clients.
- Ensure adherence to company compliance standards and underwriting guidelines.
- Operational Support
- Collaborate closely with the assigned underwriter to complete tasks, manage workflow, and resolve outstanding issues.
- Maintain careful and organized file management, ensuring all documents are accurate, complete, and properly recorded.
