Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for supporting purchasing all company supplies for all Business units, ordering repeat buys from existing suppliers or sourcing new ones. 
  • Ensuring purchase orders are placed on Zahara/Sage WAP and once approved orders are sent to Suppliers. 
  • Booking in orders and stocks and GRN’s on the system. 
  • Assisting in setting up new approved Suppliers including checking accreditations and completing account set up process on Zahara/Sage WAP and in conjunction with internal Finance team. 
  • Monitoring stock requirements and ensuring sufficient levels for manufacturing. 
  • Building effective supplier relationships to ensure supplier SLA’s and KPI’s are met. 
  • Assisting Procurement Manager for maintenance of Approved Suppliers list. 
  • Assisting Procurement Manager for all the administration involved in the Fleet process, Lightfoot reporting etc. 
  • Supporting the accident process providing drivers with access to the claims process. 
  • Supporting any other tasks relating to the group fleet process. 
  • Supporting the Procurement Manager with the Production control and planning responsibilities. 
  • Any other duties commensurate with the post or skills possessed within the Procurement and Supply Chain team. 

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • Prior experience in procurement administration, purchasing, or supply chain support.
  • Hands-on experience with raising and processing purchase orders and booking in stock.
  • Exposure to supplier setup, compliance checks, and approval processes.
  • Experience in monitoring stock levels and supporting manufacturing or production operations.
  • Previous involvement in fleet management administration (desirable but not essential).
  • Working with supplier performance monitoring (SLAs/KPIs).
  • Supporting managers with reporting, record maintenance, and ad-hoc procurement tasks.
