Life Sciences DSC Social Committee Members (positions below)

The Life Sciences Departmental Student Council (DSC) is looking for creative and enthusiastic students to join our team as Social Committee Members for the 2025–2026 academic year. As a member of the Social Committee, you will play a key role in planning, organizing, and running events that bring Life Sciences students together, foster community spirit, and create memorable experiences outside the classroom.

You will work closely with fellow committee members, DSC executives, and the broader Life Sciences community to design inclusive and engaging events. This role offers the chance to contribute ideas, strengthen event-planning and teamwork skills, and make a lasting impact on student life within the Life Sciences program.

Note: These positions are open to Life Sciences students from any year who are eager to get involved, build connections, and support the growth of a vibrant and welcoming community.

Time Commitment and Remuneration
Term: September 2025 – April 30th, 2026

Remuneration: If this position is subject to an honorarium, payouts will be in accordance with the Human Resources Honoraria Policy Grid 9.05.02 accessible here.

Social Committee Member – Support the planning and execution of DSC social events, contribute creative ideas, promote events to the student body, and help build a stronger, more connected Life Sciences community.
