Summary:
The Visual Merchandising Manager is responsible for developing and executing compelling visual presentations that reflect the L’AGENCE brand and elevate the customer experience across all retail locations. This role oversees floor sets, visual directives, and window installations to ensure consistency, creativity, and impact. The ideal candidate is a highly creative and detail-oriented leader with strong project management skills and a deep understanding of visual merchandising in a luxury retail environment.
Responsibilities:
Floor Set Planning & Execution
- Lead and coordinate timely execution of floor sets across retail locations.
- Collaborate with retail operations to ensure floor sets are aligned with seasonal collections, marketing initiatives, and the brand aesthetic.
- Optimize product placement to drive sales and enhance customer engagement.
Window Display Design & Installation
- Oversee design and installation of seasonal window displays that capture attention, communicate brand stories, and highlight key products.
- Partner with store teams to maintain and refresh windows regularly.
- Ensure window displays consistently align with brand guidelines.
Visual Directives & Brand Consistency
- Create and implement visual directives to maintain cohesive presentation across all stores.
- Align visual merchandising strategies with product launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.
- Conduct regular store visits to evaluate execution and provide guidance for improvements.
Team Leadership & Training
- Train and mentor store teams on visual merchandising standards and techniques.
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to ensure consistent execution of brand vision.
- Partner with store managers to maintain visual excellence throughout sales floors.
Merchandising Strategy & Product Knowledge
- Collaborate with the merchandising team to highlight trends, bestsellers, and new arrivals.
- Use data-driven insights to create impactful displays that drive sales performance.
- Ensure displays are both visually engaging and commercially effective.
Vendor & Materials Management
- Source and manage props, signage, and fixtures in partnership with external vendors.
- Oversee ordering, distribution, and maintenance of visual merchandising materials.
- Maintain organized storage and upkeep of reusable visual assets.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and visual merchandising standards.
- Conduct regular audits of store displays and provide actionable feedback.
- Deliver reports on execution, highlighting successes and opportunities for growth.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with retail, marketing, and merchandising teams to align on product priorities and campaign strategies.
- Contribute to planning meetings, ensuring visual merchandising initiatives support overall business objectives.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in visual merchandising, ideally within luxury fashion or retail.
- Proven success leading floor sets, window displays, and large-scale visual projects.
- Strong understanding of merchandising principles and current trends.
- Exceptional creative eye with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent leadership, training, and team development skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Physical Requirements:
- This position requires frequent standing, walking, and talking to customers.
- Occasional bending, stooping, and lifting.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
