POSITION: Staff Accountant II

We’re looking for a skilled accounting professional who can manage complex reconciliations, support financial reporting, and contribute to the integrity of our accounting operations. Candidates must reside within 30 miles of our Greenbrier, Arkansas location or be willing to relocate to be considered.

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies
• Support audits and regulatory examinations with timely and accurate documentation
• Collaborate with departments to resolve accounting discrepancies and improve processes
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in banking or financial services
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Commitment to community banking values and customer-first service
