Summary of Job Purpose
The primary functions of the Back Office Clerk are to ensure that the daily cash receipts are processed. The job requires excellent money handling and counting skills and should be flexible in nature to streamline various tasks, which this position may be called upon to complete. This position is a KEY member of Dodge Ridge.
The Back Office is a team-oriented department focused on providing our guests, both internally and externally, excellent customer service.
Job Duties and Responsibilities

- Count and verify daily cash receipts
- Prepare cash banks for sales departments as requested
- Assist Sales Associates with turn-ins
- Prepare and maintain appropriate worksheets reflecting cash turn-ins and cash inventory
- Maintain Smartcart Lockers and monthly reporting when called upon by the Finance Director.
- Work in an environment with numerous interruptions
- Other duties as assigned

- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Basic arithmetic skills
- Money handling and counting ability.
- Ability to record transactions quickly and accurately.
- Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet programs.
- Ability to learn and understand new programs
- Ten-key by touch.
- Ability to work during extreme weather conditions.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Be well groomed.

Work Schedules
Weather conditions and the number of guests play a large role in the work scheduling of Dodge Ridge employees.
When conditions are normal, you may be expected to work 8 to 48 hours per week, including weekends and holidays. We will attempt to offer consecutive days off and accommodate special scheduling requests, but we cannot guarantee that we will be able to satisfy all requests.
Work schedules, staffing levels and weather conditions will dictate when lunches and breaks will be taken.
You must arrange for transportation to work so that you arrive at your designated workstation at the scheduled time. Keep in mind that you will often be required to drive on hilly, snowpacked, and icy road surfaces.
Working Conditions
At any time during the ski season, Dodge Ridge employees are often required to perform their tasks in high winds, heavy snowfalls, low visibility, rain, and extremely cold or warm temperatures.
Uniforms
The Back Office Clerk uniform is a vest to be worn with neat, clean slacks or jeans. Your nametag must be worn at all times during your scheduled shift.
