ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain schedules in staffing/scheduling program
- Report generation from staffing/scheduling program
- Prepares staffing information for shift and assigns staff where indicted with review by Manager or RN House Coordinator.
- Deploys fiscally responsible staffing
- Informs nursing units of staff being assigned to them
- Completes shift report sheets and daily scheduling sheets.
- Facilitates placement of orients to correct units/area of need
- Assist with education of staff
- Basic computer skills for data entry
- Proficiency with electronic patient documentation
- Professional phone Etiquette
- Floats to various units based on identified patient care needs.
- Transports patients within the facility as directed
- Participates in department or unit performance improvement activities

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 1 year of CNA experience preferred
CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE
Current CNA certification in state of practice
Approved CPR or BLS certification required within 90 days
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Passing the IL Health Care Workers Background Check.
