Responsible for:
System Requirements
To comply with the requirements of the companies: Quality Policy Manual, Quality Lab Manual, System Procedures, and Instructions that apply to the Quality Assurance Department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)
- Ensures all necessary items (i.e. probes cleaner, etc.) needed for daily function of CMM is stocked and maintained.
- Maintains all records and is responsible for all check fixture, gauges, and coordinate measuring machine and laboratory equipment calibrations.
- Responsible for all annual part, PPAP and records of such layouts.
- Scheduling and performing all CMM layouts.
- Programming and operating CMM to math data per customer requirements
- Coordinate all laboratory testing per customer specifications
- Responsible for testing and reporting all Design Validation Plan and Report requirements.
- Perform annual laboratory validations per customer requirements
- Ensures GAMO Lab Manual is kept up to date
- Ensures all Quality Lab Functioning Instructions, Control Guidelines Testing Instructions, and Calibration Maintenance Guideline Instructions are created and maintained for accuracy.
- Programming and operating Laser Scanner
- Maintain and enter Lab tests data in Corporate database
- Supervises Quality Auditors for any testing, training, record keeping, and laboratory order and cleanliness in regards to anything to do with the laboratory and testing they are performing

Education Requirements:
· College Degree OR High School Diploma with minimum 3 year in Quality
- Basic understanding of Automotive Industries systems and standards
- Person can demonstrate the ability to adequately operate CMM equipment.
- Basic understanding of layouts, dimensional prints, and GD&T.
- Basic understanding of laboratory equipment and test procedures
- Basic understanding of AIAG requirements
Additional Experience, Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
Certification through the ASQ desired (CCT / CQA / CQI / CQT)
Previous experience with Polyworks, CMM, Dimensional Scanning, Calibration abilities, etc.
3 years of experience, working in a lab environmental, performing tests (physical and mechanical). Laboratory tests, etc.
Physical Demands:
Be able to lift packages from 25 to 60 pounds. Move ROMER ARM, work with them and placing them back to cases, allocating material, tools, etc.
Work standing and walk through the lines.
