Optician / Frame Stylist (Full-Time, Mon–Fri 8:00 AM–5:00 PM)
Milwaukee Eye Care Associates, S.C. is seeking a highly motivated, friendly, and energetic Optician/Frame Stylist to join our patient-first team. We’re committed to delivering the highest quality eye care in a caring, professional environment—and we’re looking for someone who brings that same standard to every patient interaction.
What You’ll Do
- Guide patients in frame selection and lens options; present solutions with confidence and clarity
- Take accurate measurements, fit and adjust eyewear, and perform minor repairs
- Order frames, lenses, and contact lenses; track orders and ensure on-time delivery
- Teach contact lens insertion and removal and provide product care education
- Verify benefits and process orders with major vision insurance plans and Medicare
- Maintain merchandising standards and support inventory management
- Collaborate with doctors and the optical team to ensure an exceptional patient experience
What You Bring
- Optical sales experience with a service-driven mindset
- Working knowledge of lens technologies (materials, designs, coatings)
- Skill in frame styling, adjustments, and minor repairs
- Familiarity with major Vision Insurance Plans and Medicare workflows
- Professional appearance, excellent communication, and strong interpersonal skills
- Comfortable using computers/EMR/POS systems and learning new software
- ABO certification a plus; bilingual skills a plus
Schedule & Pay
- Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (no evenings/weekends)
- Status: Full-time, non-exempt
- Competitive compensation commensurate with experience

Requirements
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum two years experience in an optical dispensary
- Prior sales experience preferred
- Ability to act independently and interact in a courteous and effective manner with physicians and the public
- Skill in written and verbal communication, problem-solving and decision making
QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION
- High school diploma or GED
- ABO certification preferred
