Compensation: $60,000-$75,000 per year

The Parts Counter Person is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by assisting customers in selecting and purchasing automotive parts. This role involves interacting with both retail and wholesale customers, answering inquiries, processing orders, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

Responsibilities

• Customer & Sales Support: Greet customers and assist with part identification, pricing, and availability. Handle sales transactions and resolve any customer issues.
• Parts & Inventory Management: Maintain a tidy, well-organized parts department. Restock shelves, verify incoming shipments, and manage orders, including special requests and backorders.
• Administrative Duties: Answer phone calls, provide information, and help with administrative tasks as needed.

Other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

• Demonstrates a high “HQ” (Hospitality Quotient) consisting of kindness & optimism, intellectual curiosity, work ethic, empathy, self-awareness, and integrity.  
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Previous experience in automotive parts or retail sales preferred.
• Skills: 
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in computer systems and software.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
• Ability to bend, reach, and kneel.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
