Description

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Payroll / HRIS Specialist to join our team at INDEVCO North America. This role is responsible for managing payroll operations, maintaining HRIS systems, and supporting various HR functions including onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and reporting for all our manufacturing sites. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, confidentiality, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This position reports to the Director of Human Resources on site at the corporate headquarters in Doswell, Virginia.

Requirements

  • Prepare, coordinate and process, weekly/bi-weekly payroll accurately and timely.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Administer wage garnishments, levies, child support orders, and ensure accurate tax withholdings.
  • Coordinate with Finance/Accounting for tax filings and reconciliations.
  • Address employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain and update employee data in the HRIS system.
  • Support system upgrades, testing, and implementation.
  • Generate and analyze HR reports for leadership and compliance.
  • Assist in LMS platforms including course assignments, tracking, and reporting.
  • Support training initiatives and compliance requirements.
  • Assist in administering performance review cycles and tracking completion.
  • Support new hire onboarding including documentation and system setup.
  • Support exit processes and ensure proper documentation.
  • Assist with benefits enrollment, changes, and employee inquiries.
  • Liaise with benefit providers and ensure compliance with plan rules.
  • Create and distribute regular and ad-hoc HR and payroll reports.
  • Analyze data trends and provide actionable insights to HR leadership.
  • Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee files.
  • Support various HR projects and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve HR processes.
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 1-3  years of experience in payroll and HRIS functions.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., Paylocity, ADP, UKG, Workday).
  • Knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with data reporting.
  • Familiarity with benefits administration and compliance.
