Description
Responsible for maintaining a safe, efficient, professional, profitable, high quality, clean and organized work area while performing all the day-to-day rental operational tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all safety policies.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Follow all procedures for shipping and receiving items in and out of the yard.
- Perform pre-rental checks to ensure machines are in safe operational condition, perform basic maintenance such as but not limited to checking and topping off fluid levels, checking air filters, greasing, and washing equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory and record damaged machines.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the yard.
- Maintain accurate documentation for all applicable rental agreements such as shippers/receivers, damages, consumables, etc.
- Assist rental coordinator with rental contracts.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Must be able to work safely, identify hazards, and assist in corrective activities
- Must be a self-starter and accomplish work with minimum supervision
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to solve problems and work under pressure
- Must be willing to work overtime as needed in all types of weather conditions.
- Must be proficient with computers, typing, and navigating web-based programs.
