About the Candidate / Role

Tradewind Aviation is looking for a Line Service Technician to work out of our base location in Oxford, CT. The individual should be attentive to detail and have exceptional problem-solving skills. 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS 

•  The movement of all aircraft in the hangar.
•   Fueling aircraft. 
•  Maintaining the upkeep of the hangar and office areas. 
•  Maintaining hangar equipment
•  Perform general groundskeeping 
•  Manage inventory at our CT bases ·
•  Travel to other bases as needed.
•  Performing other assigned duties 

Requirements

 REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid US Driver’s License + Clean Driving Record 
• Strength to lift 50lbs, and the ability to work in confined spaces.
• Eagerness to learn and willingness to train.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous aviation experience preferred. · 

 Physical Requirements 

• Ability to sit at a desk and use a computer for extended periods
• Ability to hear and speak clearly on the phone and in meetings (in person or virtual)
• Ability to use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and standard office equipment.
