Mechanical Dynamics & Analysis (MD&A) is a Subsidiary of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI), a world class supplier for power generation maintenance services, repairs, and parts in the utility and industrial industries, has an immediate opening for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk at our San Antonio, TX facility. We are seeking a dynamic, hard-working, dependable, process-oriented individual looking to join a strong team environment. A desire to work for a fast-paced, medium sized corporate organization is a plus. In addition, you must have a “roll-up your sleeves” attitude.

Essential Job Functions:

· Operates Forklift for shipping and receiving area.

• Check with Quality department or Production for any incoming or outgoing parts for shipping.

• Unloads freight and check for any damage.

• Examine incoming shipments for damaged goods to uphold organizational quality standards.

• Rejects any freight from Vendor if quality or damaged materials doesn't corresponds to P.O.

• Measures & marks material/goods to corresponding P.O. and Job # .

• Ensures certificates correspond to correct quality.

• Inputs information on the traveling routers and receives them into our ERP system.

• Process and record essential shipping data by utilizing computer applications.

• Place material/goods to designated rack/bin for manufacturing process.

• Maintains detailed records of inventory.

• Maintain and keep shipping area clean.

• Ensure customer procedures for part marking and packaging.

• Following procedures for packing including assemblies and production parts/goods.

• Follow up with vendors if outside processes are ready for pick up.

• Secure correct shipment of goods to customers by producing necessary paperwork for delivery.

• Delivery and pick up of material/parts/goods.

• Coordinated movement of incoming and outgoing shipments for balanced inventory management.

• Examine freight to determine loading sequences.

• Scheduled times of shipment and modes of transportation for materials.

Requirements

• Must be able to operate a forklift
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills using MS Excel are required. 
• Minimum of 2-5 years of  experience in Power Generation, Industrial, Aerospace, Oil & Gas or other technical field is strongly preferred. 
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Epicor or other MRP/ERP systems required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English and Spanish preferred)
