About the Department
As a member of the leadership team, the Assistant Clinical Coordinator of the Mobile Crisis Response Program assists with the following:
Planning, organization, evaluation, and supervision of the Mobile Crisis Response Program, which includes 24/7 mobile crisis response to individuals and families in the community experiencing a mental health crisis.
Provides direct client care, indirect client care, and/or administrative coordination, and support of behavioral health and related activities.
Provides community outreach and engagement related to the crisis response system.
Function as a community liaison and focus on administrative and systems change.
Responsible for clinical training of the team.

- On-call responsibilities
Position Duties
- Is on-call to/assist with team needs 24/7.
- Responds to mobile crisis response calls as appropriate and as needed to support the needs of the program.
- Maintains clinical competencies by providing direct services.
- Supports the creation and coordination of the Lake County Mental Health Crisis Response Initiative.
- Provides clinical and administrative supervision and development of program staff, including completion of evaluations.
- Assists Program Coordinator, ensuring adequate staff coverage for all shifts.
- Assures ongoing compliance with Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center, Joint Commission Accreditation of Health Organization, federal and state standards and regulations.
- Tracks all program data, including Key Performance Indicators and leads Continuous Quality Improvement projects for the program.
- Provides education and direction to clients, family members, and/or significant others.
- Take responsibility for training and documenting clinical chart requirements to meet program and state standards.
- Ensure effective communication among all staff regarding administrative and clinical issues.
- Assists in the implementation of policies and procedures
- Recruits, trains, schedules, supervises, and evaluates staff and students, as needed.
- Maintains accountability standards required by LCHD/CHC and funding sources relative to the quality and quantity of services provided by staff members.
- Responsible for the implementation of quality improvement processes at the program.
- Maintains an awareness of and professional involvement/collaboration with community resources.
- Participates in time-limited and continuous work groups and committees.
- Organizes and participates in treatment-related clinical conferences and staffings on assigned clients.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree requires (1) one year of experience in the field and one year of relevant supervisory experience.
- Licensed Social Worker (L.S.W.),Licensed Professional Counselor (L.P.C.) upon hire required.
- Ability to obtain full Clinical Licensure (L.C.S.W., L.C.P.C), within one (1) year of hire.
