Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Makes regular security and safety rounds inside and outside community buildings
- Follows assigned security schedules and job routines
- Communicates clearly, courteously, and professionally with residents, visitors, and team members
- Responds quickly and appropriately to urgent care needs and dispatches responses to calls for assistance
- Uses computers and emergency response systems, including the SARA system
- Operates equipment such as vehicles, radios, carts, phones, and computers
- Complies with infection control regulations and policies
- Assists in security-related training, including fire drills and emergency evacuations
- Maintains accurate logs and records in a timely manner
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer service or security-related role preferred
- Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions in English
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Must be able to relate to the needs and concerns of senior adults
