Position Duties

One year of the required experience for the following minimum qualifications must have been on-the-job experience:

Three years of experience or training in the electrical trade.

Job Duties:

Assist the Instrumentation/Electrical crew in the operation, maintenance, and repair of 600 horsepower Continental Electric Motors, 19,000 to 50,000 gallons per minute vertical circulation water pumps, 2400 High Voltage 3-phase electrical system. and electrical transmitters with water flow recording charts inside 4 large water pumping facilities (1000 square feet (ft2) each) at strategic locations on the canal system.

Analyze, trouble­shoot, calibrate, and repair electronic and/or pneumatic instruments such as differential pressure transmitters with digital signals in relation to electronic and pneumatic meter configuration from remote radio transmitter units and central processing units.

Installs electrical equipment such as; motors, starters, relays, panel boxes, breakers, switches and coils for single and 3-phase systems.

Appointment Type:   Promotional

Work Schedule: Work hours are 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Thursday

Compensation: The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
