WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Exemplifies MCR’s values and set a great example by always demonstrating excellent guest service and professionalism.
- Practice, support and promote the vision, mission, and values of the Muckleshoot Casino Resort (MCR).
- Greet guests upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures. Provide a warm and welcoming first impression.
- Offer a wide range of concierge services, including making restaurant reservations, booking spa appointments, arranging transportation, and handling ticket or tour bookings.
- Local Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge about local attractions, dining options, entertainment, and cultural events to provide recommendations to guests.
- Fulfill special requests from guests, such as arranging surprise amenities, organizing romantic dinners, or providing personalized concierge services.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with guests via phone, email, or in person to understand their needs and preferences.
- Address guest concerns and resolve any issues or complaints promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Maintain the security and privacy of guest information and ensure guest safety by following resort security procedures.
- Keep detailed records of guest requests, bookings, and interactions using appropriate software or tools.
- Work closely with other resort departments, such as housekeeping, front desk, and restaurant staff, to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism, courtesy, and poise while interacting with guests and colleagues.
- Smile and engage guests and team members with a positive professional demeanor.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury resort or hotel.
- Exceptional customer service skills and a commitment to providing top-notch service.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of the local area, including attractions, restaurants, and services.
- Proficiency in relevant computer software and reservation systems.
- Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to guest satisfaction.
- Multilingual skills may be an asset, depending on the resort's clientele.
HOW YOU’LL BE SUCCESSFUL
- Knowledge of the local area, including attractions, restaurants, and transportation options.
- Ability to handle guest inquiries in a kind and professional manner.
- Ability to lift and transport luggage, stand for extended periods, and move around the property.
- Ability to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to identify intoxicated guests and follow department procedures in handling such guests.
- Ability to utilize portable radio to be in constant contact with the Department as needed.
