Position Summary: The Warehouse Logistics Coordinator is responsible for loading, unloading and moving shipments throughout the production areas. This role also is responsible for the recording, tracking and maintaining inventory, shortages, overages and damaged orders.

Essential Job Functions and Duties:


  • Load and unload incoming and outgoing material.


  • Inspect and verify incoming material to the packing slip and the Bill of Lading.


  • Coordinate third party carriers for shipping/receiving.


  • Move material to and from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and. manufacturing areas.


  • Operate trucks, forklifts, cranes, and other equipment to move freight.


  • Maintain in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.


  • Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders and/or as requested from the Production Supervisors.


  • Assist with locating missing packages and fix incorrect deliveries


  • Maintain material handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections, making operator repairs.


  • Remove packaging/trash from production and material areas.
  • Inventory


  • Enter receipts against purchase orders and update inventory records in our warehouse management system.


  • Generate inventory, shipping, and receiving reports as required.


  • Keep a well-maintained and updated account of stock and inventory.


  • Lookup part locations.


  • Print part labels.


  • Use a scanner to transfer parts between locations.


  • Update and use reports.


  • Perform cycle counts.


  • Other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications and Entrance Requirements:


High School Diploma or equivalent required.


Familiar with data entry and computer usage.


Able to pass on site written and driving tow motor test.


Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license.


Candidates must successfully complete criminal and motor vehicle background check and preemployment drug screening.

Physical Demands/Work Environment:


Able to function capably in a production environment using standard equipment.


Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Frequently lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 50 pounds.


Must be able to complete production-related physical activities (walking, standing, talking, hearing, pushing, reaching, seeing, stooping/crouching, smelling, depth perception, identifying colors) as needed.


Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to produce.


Must be able to work inside and outside all year.


Participate in required company safety programs, training, and PPE guidelines.
