The Facilities Department at Saint Michael’s College is inviting applications for a full-time Plumber. This position supports the department in maintaining a comfortable, safe, and efficient environment by providing timely responses to issues and ensuring all campus systems are fully operational.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Inspects, maintains, repairs, replaces and tests all plumbing systems and components throughout campus
- Coordinates annual inspections and repairs with contractors
- Plans and implements renovation/upgrade/repair projects
- Addresses daily work orders
- Participates in an on-call rotation for 1-week every 4-5 weeks
This position will require regular work hours, as well as occasional on-call evening, weekend, and holiday times.

Qualifications:
- 2-4 years’ experience required
- Journeyman License with the State of Vermont required
- Driver's license required- must be able to successfully pass driving record check. For criteria, please see the Driver Acceptability Matrix
- Natural Gas Certification with the State of Vermont preferred
