What You’ll Do:
The Building Bridges Clinician provides home based family services to address the various issues of juvenile repeat offenders and their families including but not limited to mental health issues, substance abuse, domestic violence, and family criminality.
- Conducts assessments including review of referral information, identifying and engaging key participants, identifying systemic strengths and weaknesses, and developing an analysis of the fit of problem behaviors within the ecological context.
- Engages primary caregivers and other key participants in active change-oriented treatment by identifying and overcoming barriers to engagement.
- Collaborates with all relevant systems and key participants within each system to ensure their buy-in and cooperation throughout treatment.
- Provides direct clinical treatment using methods compatible with elements of the program.
- Diffuses crises, evaluate nature of crises, and intervene to reduce the likelihood of a recurrence.
- Ensures linkage to needed community services and resources.
- Arranges, coordinates, and monitors other services on behalf of the individual served.
- Monitors and manages the presenting psychiatric and/or addiction symptoms.
- Provides psychoeducational activities, parenting skills training and living skill training for youth and family.
- Works with parents/caregivers in the implementation of home-based behavioral supports.
- Provides or arranges crisis management, intensive case management, individual and/or family therapy, substance abuse intervention, skills training, and other rehabilitative supports to prevent the need for an out-of-home, more restrictive service.
- Provides “first responder” crisis response on a 24/7/365 basis to recipients.
- Participates in all scheduled training, supervision and consultation activities.
- Must be able to drive for work purposes on a regular basis.

What We’re Looking For:
To join our team, you must provide modeling, positive reinforcement, redirection and anticipatory guidance within recovery and strengths-based principles to help develop the independence of the person and/or family served. We also require:
- Must be either a licensed or board eligible/provisional licensed professional (LPC, LPA, LMFT, LCSW).
- Must have a minimum of one (1) year documented experience with population.
- Must have a valid, unrestricted, state appropriate driver’s license.
