Summary
Under the guidance of the Senior Manager of Behavioral Analytics, the Behavioral Analytics Intern will work closely with Product Managers, Product Designers, and Engineering teams to help our digital products deliver the right insights for improving the user experience and optimizing operations. By helping to gather, analyze, and visualize meaningful data, this role will contribute to creating a cohesive, seamless experience for our users.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Provide insights into product performance, user behavior, and business trends by working closely with Product Managers and Product Designers to report on key metrics and KPIs. Analyze large datasets to make recommendations for improvements and product optimizations.
- Product Experimentation & Strategy Support: Monitor and analyze experiments (e.g. A/B testing) on product features and usage. Visualize and report on results to appropriate product teams.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Support Product Managers, Product Designers, and/or marketing specialists in building dashboards, reports, and analytics tools to empower business stakeholders to make informed decisions. Participate in team meetings and strategy sessions.
- Operational Efficiency: Identify data gaps and opportunities for optimization across assigned digital products.

Qualifications
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in economics, political science, data science, statistics, or similar field.
- Must be junior standing with graduation expected in Winter 2026 or Spring 2027.
- Must be able to work part-time through Spring 2026 until transitioning to full-time in Summer 2026 (with the possibility of resuming part-time work during school).
- Must be able to work in Raleigh, NC
- Strong communication skills.
- Understanding of hypothesis testing, regression modeling, and experimentation design & evaluation.
- Experience with data visualization, including both static charts/graphs and dynamic dashboards (ex. Tableau, PowerBI).
- Proficiency in SQL and either Python or R. Nice to have: experience with Databricks
- Familiarity with product analytics platforms (ex. Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude) preferred but not required.
