This position is responsible for the accurate, timely filing, collection, and management of all private pay billing.
This is a Full -Time position, with benefits
Department: Administration
Shift: Monday to Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm
Pay: $28.00 - $38.00 depending on experience.
GENERAL STATEMENT OF POSITION
- Ensure accurate and timely private pay billing for all care levels
- Maintain accurate private pay census
- All ancillary charge entry
- Generate billing statements
- Monitoring and collections of receivables maintain documentation/collection notes
- Respond to all resident account queries
- Collect and record private pay payments and deposits as needed
- Review Medicaid and SSI balances periodically to ensure compliance with state regulations
- Set up and maintain resident trust accounts as required
- Maintain documentation to support third party claims submission and collections in accordance with defined policies in support of corporate 3rd party billing specialist.
- Identify, document, and communicate best practices and process improvement opportunities to manager.
- Prepare documentation for approval of private pay refunds and bad debt write offs
To be successful in the role, you would have:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education –
- High school graduate or equivalent
Experience/Training –
Minimum of 3 years of Accounts Receivable experience handling complex billing and collection issues.
