Description
This position requires an experienced scientist to use advanced plant biotechnology approaches, microbiology and molecular biology in researching new solutions for citrus greening disease.
Fundamental research will advance our understanding of biotechnology to transiently modify plant phenotypes with a specific focus on developing field deployable treatments for citrus greening disease in partnership with USDA ARS scientists.
Requirements
Experience required: > 3 years working with symbiont technology; PhD in a field of the biological sciences; experience with fungal transformation
