Job Summary:

We are looking for a warehouse associate with responsibilities as a backup/occasional box truck driver. You'll be at the center of our state-of-the-art sharpening center, where we sharpen and process 80,000+ knives and blades for our customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Plan, schedule, and execute all distribution services, including receiving, storing, shipping, handling returned/damaged goods, and maintenance and administrative activities, to ensure customer requirements are met. Maintains quality compliance.

• Ensure that the shipping schedules are correctly implemented and that jobs are completed properly. Apply sound communication to carrier base as well as receiving facilities.
• Ensure that customer orders are picked and shipped in a timely fashion within prescribed cost levels. Develop and implement an effective receiving operation that minimizes cost and ensures receiving paperwork is processed accurately and promptly.
• Checks and unloads inbound shipments, orderly stacking of product, and picking and staging of outbound shipments in accordance with a high level of productivity.
• Verify required inbound/outbound paperwork
• Counts/verifies and records all products coming into or shipping out of the building, ensuring that all product is properly counted.
•  Assist in physical inventories and cycle counts. Ensure the optimal utilization of dock space.
•  Records: Complete all necessary records and reports in a timely and accurate fashion.
•  Monitor the cleanliness and working condition of all equipment and the facility.
•  Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining warehouse security. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety; ensure compliance in accordance with OSHA and other appropriate standards. 
• Ability to drive a 26-foot box truck as needed. NON CDL
• Other duties: As assigned by Management.

Requirements

What we are looking for:

• Forklift Experience
• Schedule Flexibility – Monday-Friday Schedule (6:00 AM-2:30 PM), Saturday work if required
• Experience shipping UPS
• Experience driving a 26-foot box truck NON-CDL.
• Previous Warehouse Experience
• The Driver Role will pay up to $ 5+ per hour when driving and covering routes.
