Sierra Circuits is a U.S.-based, Mil-Spec-certified PCB manufacturer looking for a Business Development Manager to help grow our share of the Defense market.
This role is about building relationships with both new and existing clients in the Defense Industrial Base. You’ll be winning prototype projects and turning them into long-term contracts.
We’re especially interested in Reservists and National Guardsmen with backgrounds in electrical engineering, procurement, and the defense industry. You will be connecting with and partnering to help primes, subcontractors, and defense tech innovators.
What you’ll do
- Build new business with primes, subcontractors, and defense tech startups
- Converting existing clients to long term contracts with exclusivity
- Work closely with engineers to understand requirements
- Grow existing accounts by finding new programs and production opportunities.
- Connect with procurement and contracting officers to secure longer-term agreements.
- Represent Sierra Circuits at industry events
What we’re looking for
- Proven track record in business development or account management in aerospace, defense, or electronics
- Experience growing existing accounts, not just landing new ones
- Understanding of defense procurement processes and compliance requirements (DFARS, BAA, ITAR/EAR)
- Electrical engineering knowledge and familiarity with PCB manufacturing
- Able to work comfortably with both engineers and executive decision makers
