The Senior Data Warehouse Engineer will be a part of UBC’s Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW)

team. This team is responsible for the architecture, design, optimization, data modeling,

extract/transform/load (ETL), data governance, and solutioning of the EDW. The primary

objective of the Senior Data Warehouse Engineer is to ensure the EDW is comprehensive,

optimized, well-governed, and meeting the needs of UBC’s client and business teams.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and code efficient and effective solutions for challenging back-end data

projects with varying complexity and size.

• Develop, test, deploy and schedule complex ETL/ELT solutions to integrate multiple

data sources.

• Comply with data privacy and governance standards, along with organizational

standard operating procedures related to the design, coding, testing, and deployment

activities.

• Collaborate with cross-functional project teams
