Position Overview
We are seeking a Bookkeeper to join our corporate team in Somerset, NJ. This role provides essential financial and administrative support to the Accounting Manager and broader corporate team. The bookkeeper will perform foundational accounting tasks including data entry, reconciliations, payroll support, and general ledger maintenance.
This is a full-time, in-office role.
Responsibilities
Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including data entry, invoice processing, and account reconciliations
Maintain accurate records in the general ledger and support month-end close activities
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
Assist with payroll support tasks, including gathering timesheets and expense reports, and entering data into the payroll system accurately and on time
Prepare basic financial reports under the direction of the Accounting Manager
Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and controls
Provide administrative support to the accounting team as needed
Qualifications
2+ years of relevant bookkeeping or accounting support experience
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)
Solid communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (but not required)

Compensation
The base salary range for this role is $45,000 – $50,000 annually. This range represents a good-faith estimate at the time of posting. Actual compensation will depend on experience, qualifications, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to base salary, the role includes eligibility for bonus incentives, a comprehensive benefits package, and a company 401(k) match.
