Sr. Mgr, DGR Logistics & Distribution bei Goodwill of North Georgia

• Oversee the collection of donated goods through Goodwill’s attended donation centers (ADCs), transportation of donated goods, and storage/inventory of donated goods in our warehouse facilities
• Daily oversight and monitoring of quality and quantity of donated goods, merchandise inventory levels, and delivery times
• Serves as lead contact for ADC, transportation, and distribution teams
• Manages budget and maintains expenditures in accordance with the agency, departmental, and distribution center financial goals.
• Schedule tractors and trailers for regular preventative maintenance and Department of Transportation (D.O.T.) Federal Inspections in a timely fashion.
• Assist in the coordination and execution of donated goods merchandise during the year end process.
• Oversee and prepare daily truck and trailer dispatch schedules for efficient and on-time deliveries
• Hire, train, evaluate, motivate, and supervise all team members by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, coaching, and counseling  in accordance with Goodwill’s and the Department of Transportation’s (D.O.T.) compliance and operational standards.
• Comply with agency policies and Donated Goods Retail standard operating procedures (SOPs) and the agency’s safety and security policies and procedures.
• Create and maintain On Time Reports and maintain GPS system.
• Contribute to the planning and implementation of the agency’s five-year plan and department strategies
• Operate forklift and ensure all employees are certified on forklift procedures.
• Coordinate the receipt and distribution of all supplies.
• Assist in loading/unloading of trailers as needed.
