Treasury Analyst

The Treasury Analyst position at Metronet is responsible for supporting all treasury operations, ensuring efficient management of cash, liquidity, and banking relationships. The role plays a critical part in monitoring daily cash activity, forecasting short- and long-term liquidity needs, analyzing bank fees and services, and supporting debt and investment activities. The Treasury Analyst will assist in developing processes and reporting that enhance visibility into the company’s cash position, financial risks, and capital structure.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Manage daily cash positioning, cash reporting, and monthly cash close activities.
  • Prepare short- and long-term cash flow forecasts and support ongoing liquidity modeling.
  • Support compliance with debt covenants, including preparing schedules, debt and interest calculations, and lender reporting.
  • Assist with capital markets transactions, treasury system administration, and banking relationships.
  • Maintain accurate banking records (authorized signers, accounts, access, etc.) and coordinate onboarding/offboarding of users.
  • Partner with Accounting, FP&A, Tax, and other internal teams to research and resolve treasury-related transactions.
  • Update and enhance financial models, presentations, and other ad hoc analyses to support management and special projects.
  • Respond to bank- and cash-related requests, including wires, ACH payments, and field support related to bonds and other inbound requests.
  • Provide timely monthly and ad hoc treasury reporting for management and key stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous process improvements to optimize cash forecasting, modeling, reporting, and treasury operations.
  • All other duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Willingness to work as a team and independently.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

ADDITIONAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal) and ability to work effectively across teams.
  • Highly organized and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Excel and financial modeling; experience with treasury systems or cash forecasting a plus.
