The Program Manager is responsible for overall management of the corrective maintenance program for facilities in the area covered. These facilities and/or systems are located at numerous sites throughout the US regions. The maintenance program for these facilities and/or systems will assure that operation of security systems is reliable and failures are corrected in the time limits specified. The Program Manager must establish procedures and controls to ensure that all aspects of the maintenance programs are completed in accordance within agreed-to standards and schedules. The Program Manager is responsible for the overall performance.
Responsibilities:
• Formulating and enforcing work standards
• Assigning contractor schedules
• Reviewing work discrepancies
• Supervising contractor personnel
• Communicating policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to subordinates
• Establishing and maintaining technical and financial reports
• Maintaining client contacts to ensure conformity to all contractual obligations
• Ensuring the development, maintenance, and implementation of the maintenance program and required management plans
Requirements:
- A minimum of seven years of progressive general engineering-related management experience in construction, installation, integration, testing and maintenance of complex electronics equipment is required.
- In addition to the seven years general experience, at least five years of specialized experience is required in the direct supervision and management of projects, which included construction, installation, testing, integration, and maintenance of complex systems and subsystems.
- At least a 2-year period of experience managing large government technical contracts, projects involving subordinate groups of at least 25 persons.
