Prepares and processes various employment & insurance/benefit documents, worksheets, letters, forms, and correspondence related to the overall human resources function. May receive applications, interview applicants, process referrals, in-process, and on-board applicants for employment. Reviews data for accuracy, completeness, and clarity; inputs data using a VDT/PC and various system applications/software/ hardware. Noted for reliability, neatness, competence, knowledge, and application of policies and practices. Well groomed, courteous, and friendly in an applicant/associate and service-oriented environment.

Job Qualifications
Completion of high school or the equivalent. Six months experience in personnel/human resources is required. Must possess the ability, knowledge, and skill to operate/use the appropriate systems/software/ hardware. Typing: 50 wpm Associate must successfully complete the Health Insurance and Portability Accountability Act of 1996 training, course code 249F, concerning the handling of personal health information as required by HIPAA within three months of occupying the position. Until training has been completed, the associate may not perform any duties relating to personal health information. Annual HR Code of Ethics/confidentiality.

Major Duties
Place emphasis on recruiting. Attend job fairs, set-up employment booths. Contact facilities to follow up with facilities during peak hiring seasons to have them put recruiting info on register tapes, reader boards, store announcements, and making announcements over the intercom.
Process new hire paperwork and ensure accuracy. May receive applications, interview applicants, process referrals, and in-process applicants for employment.
Prepares and processes personnel requests and PAS. Completes a variety of documents related to the HR programs.
Take necessary action to correct payroll discrepancies.
Performs other duties as assigned.
