Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and communicate descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive insights/algorithms of moderate scope and complexity.
• Use moderately complex machine language and statistical modeling techniques, such as decision trees, logistic regression, Bayesian analysis, and others, to develop and evaluate algorithms for improving product/system performance, quality, data management, and accuracy in product/systems improvement projects.
• Translate algorithms and technical specifications into code using moderately complex programming languages and technologies in theoretical development and specific product design, implementation, and improvement environments.
• Complete programming tasks, implement efficiencies, and perform testing and debugging.
• Complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.
• Apply deep learning technologies to enable computers to visualize, learn, and respond to a variety of situations of moderate scope and complexity.
• Adapt machine learning applications to areas such as virtual reality, augmented reality, artificial intelligence, robotics, and other products that allow users to have an interactive experience.
• Maintain the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Observe all laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the company.
• Work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.

• Typically requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution.
• Requires two or more years of machine learning experience with a bachelor’s degree.
• Equivalent machine learning engineer experience may be substituted in lieu of education.
• Must have a general understanding of machine learning concepts, principles, and theory, with technical experience demonstrating the application of those concepts while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
• Must possess the ability to quickly understand new concepts and apply them accurately in an evolving environment.
• Must be able to organize work assignments to meet established timetables.
• Strong communication, computer, documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills are required.
• Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
