Role Summary:
The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team is responsible for developing advanced financial models and presentations for executive decision-making, including providing recommendations to support the strategic growth of CPC’s various business units and capitalization of its balance sheet. As a Financial Analyst, you will contribute to the development of complex business models (both long and short-term projections) and present key findings to the executive management team. You’ll also collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the successful implementation of CPC’s new ERP system, ensuring alignment between financial operations and organizational goals. In addition, you will serve as a finance liaison, partnering across departments to support strategic and operational initiatives that enhance CPC’s overall performance.
What You’ll Do:
- Help support the development of CPC’s long and short-term financial forecasts and provide insights into the organization’s performance and that of its individual businesses.
- Prepare clear and concise presentations outlining both financial findings and critical business insights to support recommendations to senior management.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the finance team and from other departments to enhance CPC’s monthly and quarterly financial reporting, incorporating key performance metrics for multiple business lines.
- Help support the annual operating budget process: partner with finance and business leaders to identify key revenue and expenses assumptions for the year; help create consolidated CPC and Business Segment budgets based on these inputs.
- Manage CPC’s Capacity, Capital Allocation, and Liquidity models.
- Help support CPC’s new financial ERP implementation project and future projects geared to drive automation and improved financial reporting.
- Help support CPC’s S&P and Lender due diligence requirements using reporting and analytical tools to ensure timeliness and accuracy.
- Participate in Finance department and cross-departmental projects as required.
- Help support the broader Finance function partnering with Accounting & Treasury to ensure reporting accuracy and alignment between the groups.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Experience:
- BA/BS in Economics, Finance, Business, or related field.
- A minimum of 2-3 years’ finance/accounting experience, preferably in a consulting, real estate, or banking environment.
- Demonstrated understanding of financial analysis concepts as well as a solid knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Must be self-motivated, as a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
- Comfortable managing multiple projects with a high degree of ambiguity in a fast-paced setting.
- Results-oriented – strong sense of urgency and excellent follow-through.
- Strong modeling skills.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency in Power Point is required.
- ERP implementation experience (e.g., Net Suite, Workday) is a strong plus.
- Detail orientated with good communication skills
- Ability to make formal presentations.

This is a full-time, hybrid role where you will work from the Manhattan office two - three days a week. The salary range is $75,000 – $90,000, dependent on experience.
