We have permanent vacancies to join our team of cleaners at Matthew FyfeCare Home.  

Shifts are between 7:30am to 2:30pm. 

Dunfermline 

  • Cleaner 12 hours per week - Working every second week – Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday, on a part-time, permanent basis. This post requires working on 4 days on 10 days off from 7:30am to 2:30pm. 

Enhancements are paid for weekend working 

  • You will earn a competitive salary of £24,740.74 pro-rata and have access to a range of benefits, including:We pay the Scottish Local Government Living Wage of £13.18 per hour for this post, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends. 

  • Pay is every 4 weeks.Access to and support with training opportunities and qualifications for the job.Membership of Fife Pension Fund which is part of the Scottish Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS Scotland).Generous holiday allowance.

  • This work is about ensuring residents and staff can live or work in a clean and safe environment every day. You will go home each day knowing you have made a difference. No previous experience is required as on the job training is given, working towards The Cleaning Operatives Proficiency Certificate. 

The Person 

No Previous experience is required as full training is given. 

Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.  

You will be required to attend an Induction Training Day before starting in post.
