Babington House...
Situated in a Grade II-listed manor built in 1705, Babington House is surrounded by 18 acres of English countryside in the heart of Somerset. Just 30 minutes from Bath, it’s the ultimate countryside escape for rest, relaxation and seasonal dining. With 33 bedrooms spread across Babington’s historic buildings, Cabins and Lodges, the club features a formal dining space in the Orangery, serving a unique menu centred around seasonal and local produce. There’s also a cricket pitch and tennis courts, indoor and outdoor swimming pool, a gym and original Cowshed Spa.
The Role…
We are seeking an experienced Childcare Assistant to join our Teeny House childcare team at Babington House (BA11 3RW).. Ensuring that all the children's needs are met in your care and to ensure that the environment of Teeny House is clean, safe and secure for all members, children, guests and colleagues.
Main Duties...
- Welcome, greet and meet members and guests with a professional but warm and friendly manner
- Interact and engage with all children
- Ensure the environment is safe for all children, parents and colleagues
- Provide a happy, stimulating environment for all children
- Ensure the cleanliness of Teeny Barn is kept to standard at all times
- Keep children entertained through various activities
- Meet all children’s personal needs including nappy changing and toileting at all times
- Report back any safeguarding or illness concerns you have to the management team
What we are looking for in a Teeny Assistant...
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 or equivalent in Childcare
- Team player who communicates well with all colleagues
- Punctual, reliable and trustworthy
- Sense of urgency
- Yes, yes, yes mentality
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible and available to working both opening and closing shifts when required
Expected working hours for a Teeny Assistant:
- Working 32 hours per week
Travel: Approx. 30 minutes from Bath, 50 minutes from Bristol & 10 mins from Frome (No local transport from Frome)
